Sizing

All of my rings are bespoke and handcrafted to your specified size.

Please ensure that you provide an accurate ring size when placing your order. Since finger size can vary with temperature, activity, and time of day, I highly recommend having your finger measured by multiple jewellers at different times for the most accurate result.

Alternatively, you can purchase a ring sizer set from my shop for £5 — this includes a £5 voucher redeemable against any future ring purchase.

Please note: Wider rings (8mm and above) tend to feel tighter than narrower bands. If you're ordering a wider ring, I suggest selecting half a UK size up (or a quarter US size) for a more comfortable fit.

As each ring is custom-made to your exact size, I’m unable to offer free remakes for incorrect size orders. A remake fee will apply in such cases.

If you have any questions or need help with sizing, feel free to get in touch, I’m happy to help!

Process

All of my rings are meticulously crafted using a steam bending technique, which involves the application of heat and moisture to soften and bend the wood around a former. Once the wood has been dried, it retains its bent form. This method ensures that the grain wraps around the ring three times, providing enhanced strength through lamination and eliminating weak spots found in wood rings made from a solid block.

Finish and care guide

Each ring is coated with a hard wax oil that is water resistant but not waterproof

To ensure the longevity and beauty of your handmade wooden ring, follow these care instructions:

• Handle with Care: It is advisable to remove your ring before engaging in activities that subject your ring to excessive force or pressure, such as weightlifting or rock climbing, as this may result in a cracked or chipped ring.

• Chemical Protection: Avoid contact with harsh chemicals, such as nail varnish remover and bleach, as they may damage the ring

• Sunlight Exposure: Store the ring away from direct sunlight to prevent wood discoloration caused by UV rays over time.

• Minimize Water Exposure: As a precaution, avoid prolonged water contact. Remove rings before swimming, showering, or doing dishes.

• Worn out Finish: If you notice a difference in the texture or look in the ring it may be time to re apply a wood finish
I recommend a hard wax oil but any wood wax is ok. For the best ring longevity I recommend reapplication regularly.

By following these guidelines, you can maintain the beauty and durability of your handmade wooden ring.
